Welcome from the 2018 Event Leadership Team

Thank you everyone for your help and support. This is my first time at the Relay and in the committee, and I’m super excited about the people, energy and help it provides. I look forward to seeing who is going to have the most fun and what teams will be doing what! Enjoy this year’s Relay!! - Nick

Welcome!! Relay is a fun place for people of all ages to come and enjoy. I’ve been relaying for almost 10 years and it fun to see returning faces every year!!! - Stephanie

I view Relay as a friends and family reunion each year. The bonds built with perfect strangers over such a short amount of time is priceless and I look forward to seeing friends from years past and making new ones each year. I am excited to welcome you to this adventure. I have been Relaying for 7 years and it holds such a special place in my heart for the reasons I Relay. - Tiffany

I've been privileged to have been able to volunteer on the Relay leadership team for a dozen plus years. In my time on the committee, I've grown to love the prime parking spaces that are available when showing up at Relay extra early to help set up! But I also look forward to seeing the enthusiasm that builds as all our participants join in a sole purpose of fighting cancer. There is something extremely encouraging in knowing our fellow Relayer's individual and team efforts come together as a whole to make a difference in the lives of our loved ones currently battling cancer, and in reducing the impact of cancer on future generations! I hope you enjoy your 2018 Relay For Life! - Jeremy

Being a part of this event over the past years has been a blessing. As a committee member for the past 3 years I have enjoyed getting to know so many of you amazing Relayers. I am so grateful for you welcoming me with open arms and sharing your stories with me. My favorite part of Relay is the Luminaria Ceremony, it reminds me of why we are all out here Relaying and to keep on doing it for the years to come. - Tianna
